same crap different day

I was concerned when the little monitor looked like a cell tower/antenna for two days.  It usually indicates the status of the wireless network.  Indicating the strength and so on.  I went to get on other sites and for some reason it won't move..I turned it off by the tower...and the little monitor came back...

Someone suggested I start using firefox at home and I explained that my guru isn't a big fan of their program.

computer acting strang last night

When it was in sleep mode and I went to start it up (from screen saver) it wouldn't do anything.  I had to turn it off a couple of times at the tower.  It took a long time to load up.  Today the internet connection was not working.  Instead of the monitor its a "cell tower".

More sites are not fully loading up on the computer for me.  It is very frustrating.  Is it because of the IE?  Should I bother to go to the next program?

some updates that were confusing me

Last week I got a message:  One of the files containing the system registry data had to be recovered by use of a log or alternate copy.  Recovery was successful.  I don't know why that happened-it may have been because i turned the computer off quickly.  I also got the first of the Adobe  Flash player update and the following excerpt from an email explains it.

Quick question…last week I got an Adobe flash player update.  It included “download Google Chrome”.  I unchecked that part but I ended up canceling the whole process completely because I couldn’t remember where I wanted to save the adobe flash player…It came up again today when I turned the computer back on.  My question is this:  When the question of saving it or running it comes up what should I do?  If I save it where should I save it to?  Should I save to my C drive or desk top?  As if right now I have the Adobe page from the internet up and not moving from it until I hear from you.

I see the Windows Update symbol in the task bar.  I am not sure what type of updates there are but if it is okay to install google chrome then I would like to because not all of the sites I go to work well with the current IE system.

Anyway I am waiting for a response......

Why?

For some reason I can post to one of my Wordpress blogs but not the other one.  I have no idea why and it is frustrating.  The blog I can post to was turned into one of my NCIS Blogs.  I just don’t know what to do.

I have also noticed that some websites I frequent don’t load up really well or at all.  It really is frustrating.  I am hoping it is just the ISP and not me.  It just might be I have to update to the latest and compatible programs.

Wireless Key board and mouse

Hey its been almost two weeks and in that time:

I had a couple of updates:  Windows and Java...they wanted me to download or upload McAfee security.  I already use Norton no need for two of them. 

I still get the problems with audio on videos from the net.  We have determined it is the speed and signal strength from ISP.  We are trying to find ways in which to move tower and antenna to get better reception.  IT may help now that I got a wireless keyboard and mouse for birthday...haven't hooked it up yet...
