should I be concerned

I just caught this entry from Google Mail to keep their members informed about changes to the email programs that they use (that includes me).  I don’t use the web base unless I am out of town or at work.  I usually use MS Outlook.  So the only way I would notice the updates or changes is if I went to the website.

The only other concern I am still having is the grey streaks on the monitor when the monitor is on power down/screen saver.   It occasionally takes a couple of minutes and the gray area with streaks (it makes me think the monitor is dying) shows up.

For some reason the screen was gray with lines...after it being on power down...I hope this doesn't mean something is wrong with the computer.

what's been happening

Livejournal has had some phishing problems.  I am hoping I didn't fall prey to it.

the speed for the computer was up high over the weekend.

Haven't had any updates of lately...

Another windows update

late last week after the previous one.  Everything is working aok.

had a security update

Last night the computer rebooted and I got nervous (it was during the night).  There was a security update..

the speed of the computer has maintained at 36 mps and and occassionally at 54 and 48.

Had a Java Update that added a ask.com search bar to the top of screen
