I am trying to clear out the inbox of various emails from various groups. I had one invitation for Yahoo group for health and it had expired already but I still tried to join but couldn't get the capture sign ins they usually have to prevent bot sign ons. It got very frustrating.
I also noticed that Yahoo groups did away with their calendars. That really sucks but then again I don't use them very much.

Java 7 update
10:30 this morning updated to Java 7. Unchecked the box for including Ask.tool bar on the tool bar section.
Computer still continues to run a tad slow when some sites are loading along with emails filling in.

Connectivity issues
After a few weeks of connectivity issues I am back on my own computer. I guess we had some problems with the routers and tried to replace them it turns out that one isn’t compatible with this and we had to get a new modem. So now everyone has access (including Mom and the lap top).
Even though Windows does not have support for Windows Xp I did get updates yesterday. For some reason there is a red X on the NOrton shield but I did a scan and everything is fine. I even tried the updates. I will have to do it again.

Recent updates
I know its been a couple of months. GMail did some updates to their mail program over the last several months and I just actually saved all their emails to the Computer folder on the hard drive.
I don't know if there were any Norton updates or Windows updates recently but I will take better track of them.
Question: If I leave a thumb drive on a computer (linked in or whatever) will that cause problems? Should I do a virus scan as well?
ETA:
Did a scan for the thumb drive its fine. Currently running a full scan on the computer...started nearly two hours ago...its still going. found and cleared out two risks (cookies or something).
